Cameron Howell grew up in eastern North Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology from North Carolina State University. She spent the next three years serving in local and international missions. This experience fostered a desire to pursue a career which would allow Cameron to provide compassionate care for others and led her to pursue a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
As a physician assistant, Cameron enjoys getting to know her patients. She prioritizes listening to their concerns, encouraging them to achieve their healthcare goals, and supporting them through hardships. She is particularly interested in women's health and mental health.
In her time off she enjoys playing with her nieces and nephew, relaxing at the beach, exercising, and trying new recipes to share with family and friends!
